Unfortunately the energy of desperation pushes against what you want. It really isn’t fair! But it is one of the main things that hold well meaning people back from achieving their goals and manifesting their desires.
As you probably know, with Law of Attraction, like attracts like. This attraction responds to the vibration you are emitting, which put simply are your emotions. This means your dominant emotion about the subject you are manifesting must be aligned with living it, having it and being it…
What do you think your underlining thought is when you feel desperate about your desire? Certainly it is that you want it, yes. But deeper than that is the fear that it won’t happen. When you are desperate you do not feel like the master of your domain, you are not sure how you can possibly pull it off but you hope to high heaven that it will work out… some how!
So you can see that all you can receive in turn is more uncertainty. This is a hard place to be in because your desire it strong. It really is a paradox that when you relax the reigns of needing it to happen, then it is more likely to materialize before your eyes.
Fortunately there is a solution to desperation. An energy therapy technique AND real life action steps you can take. I recommend you use them both together. A few things to include are a list of the negative thoughts/beliefs that come up during your day. This is to tap on later during EFT sessions. This is also beneficial because when you write it down and tell your mind you have it now, it can be easier to let the thought go.
Another important factor to include in is all of your successes and wins throughout the day. The big and the small. Even the tiny! Any positive feelings and new occurrences, write them down! Then give yourself a pat on the back and celebrate each thing! This is wonderful for building confidence. It gives your subconscious mind proof that you are headed in the right direction. The more you can relax into the good things that are happening in your life, the better you will feel about your future goal.
