Do You Really Want to Ground Into Gaia?
By Stacy Vajta

Over the past year or so, as the energy has been rapidly changing and we’ve been undergoing vibrational shifts on all levels, I’ve been asked this question a lot, “I’m a little unsure what to do, with the energetic changes Gaia has been going through, do I really want to ground my energy there?”

I have to say, the first time a client asked me this, it broke my heart. Really, I had such a strong emotional reaction that tears came to my eyes. And my emphatic answer then and now is, “YES!”

When I talk with people about this issue, it becomes clear that there is a whole lot of confusion around grounding these days. And, there is a lot of misunderstanding about what we’re really doing when we “ground” our energy.

Over the years I know my own understanding of “grounding” has changed. 30 years ago, when I first started working with energy, I would imagine my grounding cord dropping deep into the earth’s center. It was an anchor — something that once dropped, didn’t move. And it certainly didn’t interact with what I was connecting into.

That process just doesn’t cut it anymore!

My awareness of energy has certainly grown over the years, and now I see myself as a co-creator with energy. I’ve learned that Gaia’s energy is fluid and multi-faceted (just like ours); and connecting into the energy that runs below my feet is never the same experience twice.

Sure, Gaia is upgrading; but that doesn’t mean she isn’t as wise as ever.

When we learn to let go of the mind, and allow our own energetic intelligence to guide us into the right energetic flow within the planet, we find a rich source of support.

Perhaps “grounding” is no longer the word to use. The truth is, we don’t just connect into Gaia or the “ground.”

To really be “grounded,” we need to connect into 3 distinct — and fluid — vibrations, and allow them to integrate. We must connect into a flow of energy within the earth that supports us, up into our highest vibration, and also deep into our own body and energy. In missing one element, you are missing the flow.

And that is what grounds us…not the earth herself, but the flow of energy.

When we tap into that energy, we move into a vibrational stream that allows us to embody the vertical flow of energy that we are working with, which communicates from above, below and everything in between.  It is our core column of light, and it anchors us into the energy we need in any given moment.

I tell my clients it’s like a telephone line, constantly communicating to us…up and down. And even when we are in the midst of solar flares, energetic shifts or states of chaos in mass consciousness, we can always find the energy we need within the earth — just like we can always connect to our Source — and into this energy flow.

Gaia works in tandem with Source energy, not as planet that is simply bombarded with energy. Her wisdom is deep. Don’t underestimate her ability to heal you and support your own process. After all, we are all connected. ♥
