Teachers who inspire realize there will always be rocks in the road ahead of us.  They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how we use them.  ~ Author Unknown

Through our life experiences, we are each gathering wisdom and tools
for our spiritual tool belt to assist us, as well as others, on this journey.
Recognize this knowledge will remain with you for you to use as you are guided to.

Journey into Consciousness Copyright 2013 Starfield Press/Shelly WilsonJourney into Consciousness may revolve around my story, but within each one of us is a story that is being written each and every day. We are constantly writing the story of our lives based on choices – whether we make these choices ourselves or they are made for us. The directions those choices take us form the foundation for our learning, spiritual growth, and even our happiness. As we become more aware and mindful of our own personal power, we are better able to make conscious choices, and give ourselves permission to take control of our destiny instead of leaving it up to fate.

In this series of articles for Light Workers World, I will be offering tools for your spiritual tool belt. These are tools and wisdom that have helped me the most on my own personal journey into consciousness. I believe spirituality is a way of life rather than simply a practice, and the tools I have provided are straightforward, uncomplicated, and therefore, easily incorporated into our daily lives.

Tool #5
Take a moment to breathe in deeply and exhale anyone and anything that no longer serves you. Be mindful of your inhalations and your exhalations. Two to three times a day for 2-3 minutes, I invite you to clear your mind and open your heart. Visualize yourself breathing in emerald green energy from Archangel Raphael and exhaling the pain, hurt, fear, frustration, worry and doubt. Release it and let it go.

Tool #6
Celebrate You
Your birthday is your special day! Your birthday is the day in which your family and friends celebrate you and your entry into the earth plane. Why limit this celebration to one day a year? Celebrate YOU and all that you are each and every day. Choose to see yourself as the Divine sees you – a beautiful, unique and miraculous creation.

You are making a difference in the lives of others by simply being YOU. No extra work is required. By setting an example and shining your Light bright, you allow others to do the same. Do not doubt the power that you hold within. Celebrate this power!

Stay tuned for upcoming articles offering you additional tools and wisdom for your spiritual tool belt.

Journey into Consciousness: One Woman’s Story of Spiritual Awakening with Tools to Assist You on Your Journey is available as an eBook and in paperback.
